Boss may employ or superintends the employee and has the responsibility to make sure that a bunch of subordinates gets out the allotted quantity of production. An ideal boss brings various advantages to a company and also encourages employees to work better for the company. It is not easy to be a boss of a company. He should possess different types of character to tackle a certain situation for the development of the company. A boss must be rude sometimes though he or she doesn’t wish to be. A boss may be strict and also friendly at the same time. Strict in the case when he or she expects that the work has to be done in a certain way and the employee fails to do it in that way and doesn’t get benefits. Sometimes some personal issues like household problems, financial problems, fear of failure, frustration, etc can also make a boss rude.

- To try to create one favorite person. Treat all the employees equally. If they are unhealthy, you allow them to apprehend all regarding it.
- You can be strict regarding mission-critical problems. If you would like your company to survive, forever be honest regarding it. If someone is under-performing, then try to teach him or her how to do it best despite insulting him or her.
Being an employee it is very common to do certain errors. But, we should try to prevent those faults as:
- We should try to stay professional whenever the boss criticizes us. We should learn how to control our emotions when the boss criticizes us. Most of the time when the boss scolds us, it may not be personal. So we should not take the criticism personally.
- We should discuss the problem among ourselves. Boss doesn’t realize what effect the criticism will have on the employee’s mind. So, we have to talk about our problems, faults and how to tackle them. In this way, one can be stress-free and can reduce their problems.
A conversation along with friends or loved ones with a cup of tea or coffee can be very effective in this case.
- Despite facing criticism, we should try to co-operate with the boss. I know it could be a difficult task, but sometimes if we talk about our faults and how to deal with them to reduce the faults, then the boss can appreciate that. He or she will give us suggestions and we have to listen to them very carefully and try to make them into our mind, so that next time we will not create such errors. Moreover, it will help us to know about the boss like what are their likes and unlike, etc.
There is a syndrome associated with the boss-client relationship that is named “The set up to fail syndrome”
Set-up-to-fail syndrome may a work-dynamic during which employees fail to do certain work according to the expectation of the employee which sometimes led to the destruction of the company. It always starts clandestinely, and often, the trigger is a smaller amount specific. According to various sources, it has been identified that some factors between the Boss and the employee, like the similarity of attitudes, or social characteristics have a big impact on a boss’s impressions on the worker, and it may be starting off the set-up-to-fail syndrome.
